The GSW WSC-P86 is an 86″ chrome-plated post grooved at 1″ increments so shelves snap in fast and level. Each post ships with a cap and a leveling foot, and posts come 4 to a pack to build one full unit.

Buyer questions

How many posts do I need for one shelving unit?

A standard wire shelving unit uses four posts, one at each corner. The WSC-P86 ships 4 to a pack, so one pack builds a single 86″ tall unit.

Can I use this post in a walk-in cooler or wet area?

No. Chrome series (WSC) posts from GSW are rated for dry environments only. For coolers, dish areas, or other wet locations, use GSW’s green epoxy (WSE) posts instead.

How do the shelves attach to the post?

The post is grooved at numbered 1″ increments. Tapered split sleeves clip into the grooves at the height you choose, and the shelf slides down over them, locking in level.

Can I make the shelving unit mobile?

Yes. The leveling feet can be swapped for optional casters to convert a stationary unit into a rolling one.

Does it include a cap and leveling foot?

Yes. Each WSC-P86 post comes with a top cap and an adjustable leveling foot. Replacement feet (WSH-ALF, KS6112, KT-5115) are available if needed.
