Explore More from RHQ
One team from the first sketch to opening night
Every room in this portfolio was designed, fabricated, and installed by the same crew. That's why the timelines hold and the details match the drawings.
We measure the space, talk through the menu and service flow, and sketch the first plan.
Layout, lighting, finishes, and kitchen line, drawn for permit and priced as one package.
Millwork, stainless, and waterjet pieces are built in our own shop while the site is prepped.
Our crew runs the build, sets the equipment, and hands over keys ready for opening day.
Before you start a project
Short answers to what owners ask us first. Everything else gets covered on a site walk.
How long does a restaurant build-out take in Dallas-Fort Worth?
Most full build-outs run three to four months once permits are in hand. Franchise fit-outs with a fixed spec can move faster; the Shipley Do-Nuts location in this portfolio was delivered in six weeks. Remodels of an operating restaurant are usually phased around service so the doors can stay open.
Does RHQ handle design, fabrication, and construction, or only one part?
All three. Design, millwork, metal fabrication, waterjet cutting, and the build itself are done by one RHQ team, with the shop work produced in-house. That's what keeps the finishes consistent with the drawings and the schedule under one point of contact.
What types of restaurants are in this portfolio?
Omakase and modern sushi, robata, Thai, Japanese BBQ with live tabletop grilling, bakery-cafes, and a franchise donut shop, across Dallas, Plano, McKinney, Southlake, Addison, and Garland. The same process applies to bars, fast-casual, and ghost kitchens.
Can we see one of these restaurants in person before we commit?
Yes. Several of the rooms here are open to the public, and we're glad to walk a project with you or set up a showroom visit in Garland. Request a quote and tell us which project caught your eye.
