Is the Winco AFP-8A-H nonstick?

No. This is the natural-finish (uncoated) aluminum model. It is not coated. If you need a nonstick surface, look at the Gladiator Excalibur non-stick versions instead.

What is it made of and how thick is it?

It is built from 3003 series aluminum with a 3.5 mm thick body, which gives it fast, even heat distribution while staying light to handle.

Is the handle heat resistant?

The handle is riveted to the pan and encased in a blue silicone stay-cool sleeve for a secure, comfortable grip. The sleeve is removable.

Can it go in the dishwasher?

No. Winco lists this pan as hand wash only to protect the natural aluminum finish.

What size jobs is an 8″ pan good for?

An 8″ fry pan is ideal for eggs, omelets, single portions, and small batches of vegetables. Step up to the 10″ or 12″ Gladiator for larger portions.
