Does the BD-500SF make ice?

No. The BD-500SF is an ice storage bin, not an ice maker. It holds up to 500 lbs of ice produced by a compatible top-mounted Hoshizaki ice machine, which is sold separately.

Which ice machines fit on the BD-500SF?

Hoshizaki lists the KMD-460M, KMD-530M, KMD-860M, KMD-355, KMD-505M and KMD-705M as compatible. A 24″ to 24-1/2″ deep ice machine mounts without a top kit extension.

What are the exterior dimensions?

30″ W x 32-1/2″ D x 46″ H, with the height including the standard 6″ legs.

Does it include legs and a drain?

Yes. It ships with 6″ painted legs and a 3/4″ FPT drain. Optional LP-6 stainless steel legs are available if you prefer a stainless finish.
