Does the BL66-C-SC need a drain or plumbing connection?

No. The self-contained refrigeration system includes hot gas condensate, so no plumbing connection is required. It does need a hardwired electrical connection by a qualified electrician on some self-contained models.

What is the difference between the -SC and -R versions?

The -SC is self-contained, with a top-mount refrigeration system built into the unit for indoor installation. The -R version uses remote, pre-assembled refrigeration with the condensing unit located away from the box.

Does it come with a floor?

No. This is a floorless model. It ships with steel U-channel and a 6-inch NSF cove base for field installation. A floor panel option is available on Arctic’s Blue Line build if you need one.

What temperature does this walk-in hold?

It is built for cooler duty and holds a steady +35 degrees F, with an LED thermometer and light switch built into the door frame. For sub-zero freezer storage you would need a freezer-rated model.

What electrical does it require?

The standard configuration runs on 208-230V, 60 Hz, single-phase at 4.7 amps with a 1/2 HP compressor. Field wiring should be completed by a qualified electrician to National Electric Code and local standards.
