It is a warmer, not a cooker. The SEJ22000 holds already-cooked rice at serving temperature. Cook your rice separately, then transfer it in to keep it hot and fresh through service.

It holds up to 50 rice cups, which works out to roughly 100 cooked bowls. One rice cup measures about 3/4 of a standard cup (180 mL).

Thunder Group rates the SEJ22000 to keep rice warm for 6 to 8 hours after it has been cooked, which covers a full service period for most operations.
